La tipologia di fotografia che piu' mi interessa e' quella paesaggistica.  

 

Le foto di paesaggio, contrariamente a quanto si possa pensare, sono difficili da realizzare. Se si vuole ottenere una buona, per non dire ottima, immagine e' necessario lo studio del luogo, dell'inquadratura, della luce. 

 

Così, programmazione e sensibilita' estetica sul campo diventano fondamentali. 

 

Anche la post produzione e' una componente importante della fotografia. La mia filosofia e' quella di ottimizzare, attraverso le tecniche di post produzione, l'immagine catturata senza inserire alterazioni. 

 

Sono innamorato dei paesaggi del nord Europa: Scozia, Irlanda, Inghilterra, Norvegia, piu' in generale la penisola Scandinava, Bretagna e Normandia. 

E' in alcuni di questi luoghi che si possono trovare territori selvaggi, incontaminati, di rara bellezza che esprimono un senso di potenza, solitudine, serenita'.

I prefer taking photos of landscapes; it's not so easy as you may think, since you have to focus on many different aspects (the light, the location, etc.) but, once taken the outcome can be (I hope) very nice and satisfactory. 

 

Furthermore, programming and esthetics sensibility on the field are important. 

 

Post production is an important feature in photography too: my modus operandi is to optimize, through the post production techniques, the images without alterations. 

 

I'm in love with Northern Europe: Scotland, Ireland, England, Norway, the Scandinavia Peninsula, Brittany and Normandy. In all these places, you can find wild, dramatic and untouched lands.
